Thrifty Finds

I haven’t been out shopping much lately, mainly because I’m knee deep in projects for the bazaar and for my house, and I definitely don’t need to bring anything more in for my Etsy shop until I list all the stuff I have! But, I was able to sneak get out last Friday and today for a little while, and managed to find a couple of must haves.

These three wonderful items are my favorite treasures I came home with.

The black scale I found at The Attic here in Fredericksburg. Isn’t it just awesome!!! Now, I have two rusty, chippy, old kitchen scales. I’m pretty sure that counts as a collection.

The basket I found in the cold, drizzly rain at Trade Days. Braving the weather paid off. I haven’t decided yet if I’m keeping it or selling it.

I love the raised rim of numbers around the scale face.

This window frame is already painted the perfect color for Connor’s room. I’m going to turn it into a bulletin board.

I did pick up a few other items, those will have to wait for another day. I just wanted to show you the bestest of the bunch!

  10. LOVE, love, love the scale, Shannon! I've never seen one with numbers around the edge like that!

  11. hi Shannon ... that scale is just so great. You have a winner with the unusual numbers around the edge of the face. I have bought four this year and none as neat as that one. Just keep trying to fine one of the most unusual ones. but I think I have enough for now. Glad you got to go to Round Top ... what fun ... have always wanted to go there.
    Blessings,
    Audrey Z.
