Saturday night found me settled into an antique chair at Carol Hicks Bolton’s Antiquites, alongside a fabulous runway canopied with tattered burlap, dry branches and mason jar candle lights waiting for the show to start.
It was more than obvious that a lot of work went into creating this one of a kind fashion show. The creative combined efforts of Carol and Tim Bolton, Binky Morgan and Ron Anderson and the Magnolia Pearl team, headed by Robin Brown and John Gray, along with the assistance and support of many others, turned this evening into one to remember!
Me and my friend, Anne, from Fiona and Twig. She personally hung all those glass jars!
I’m just going to share a few photos I snapped to give y’all an idea of the awesome talent these people possess. Besides, there were tons of professional photographers hanging around, so you know you’ll see way better shots in print someday!
Sit back and enjoy….
Binky’s bike all dolled up.
Is this not the greatest thing? The dress is made of beeswax!
Amazing dress form made from anything and everything you could imagine.
She’s blowing bubbles through old spectacles with the glass removed. How clever!
Check out the stockings~gorgeous!
I was also privileged to meet Jo Packham, from Where Women Create magazine. She is such a warm and friendly lady.
Anne with Rose Hicks. Isn’t this a lovely picture of the two of them?
Be inspired!
