More Bazaar Projects Revealed

Hey all, I thought it was about time to show you some more of the projects I’ve been working on for the Spring Fling Bazaar Fundraiser.

We had several tin pails donated that originally came from the Dollar General and had big Christmas stickers on them. After soaking the pails in TSP and scrubbing them to death, the stickers were removed and I had blank slates to work with. Here are the results.

One with a chalkboard label, buttons and burlap. Chalkboard paint applied with a shaped stencil does the trick.

A quartet of numbered pails ready for any kind of storage job. I simply stenciled a number on a piece of burlap and used Mod Podge to adhere it to the pail. The embellishments are all vintage lace, ribbon, buttons, jewelry pieces and a few other little doodads.

I know this looks like a cigarette in this next picture, but I swear it’s only a piece of chalk.

Stenciled with ticking ruffle and chalkboard heart tag.

And finally, a pail just for STUFF.

  1. Cute. That little button bow is adorable. I would suggest for our spring fling that we have a whole section of rusty and redone knockoff stuff, but you know what would happen if I suggest it..... I would have to do it!

  3. Hi Shannon ... just had to pop over to see what you have been up to and now I know how busy you have been. Love the little buckets. Great job. They should sell well. So cute, I plan to copy them on some big buckets that I have.
    Blessings.
