I have, at the last minute, decided to host my first in-home Christmas sale! I’ve been toying with this idea for a while, but it wasn’t until last weekend that I really committed to the concept of it. So I’ve basically been working like a lunatic since last week to price all my items and craft some new ones.
Thought I’d give you a peek into my mess. Or at least, what I deem a mess. Usually my desk is clear and I don’t leave piles of stuff around!
Work in progress: Pricing and researching.
See that “in” basket. Not normally kept that full. It probably doesn’t help that I like to read blogs while I work. Funky Junk Interiors happens to be the one of choice at the time of the picture. I think I was reading one of Donna’s posts on organization!
Some vintage paintbrushes waiting for their tags hang out among the pencil shavings.
Various goodies stacked next to my desk are ready to go through the cycle. Let’s see what’s on there….a ceramic chicken, vintage baby bottle, really cool aluminum easel, a little lost sheep, and a saucer. Don’t you love the grey enamel platter?
More items waiting…..
The pew is not for sale. It resides right now in our sunroom until we can find a more fitting spot for it.
This pile has been priced. Yay~!
These adorable little crowns are on their way to becoming ornaments. I’ll be sure to post a pic when they’re completed.
So there sits my mess.
I am happy to say that I’m pretty sure I’ll be ready to start setting up everything by Wednesday.
Pretty sure.
You're keeping it real. I love that. We creative types don't always have things camera ready. lol I'm still cleaning up the mess I made before my show this past weekend. Love the little crowns. I'll be back to see what happens to them.
ReplyDeleteI would surely love to be there, but I'll be out of town, boo! But thank you for the invitation, how cool to discover that we're neighbors!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Anne
