This is somewhat of a follow-up to my Country Living Fair post, as this was the second junkin’ show we attended that day.
Junk Salvation was put on by the Funky Junk Sisters at the neatest location-a ghost town! J. Lorraine Ghost Town is located in Manor, Texas, just outside of Austin. After our morning shopping was finished at the Country Living Fair we headed out to our next stop.
I have to admit that we both enjoyed this show much more than the Country Living Fair. This was a great choice for a junk hunting show! The ghost town made for a fun and festive atmosphere. Live music, authentic looking old-time buildings and lots of great vendors made the day.
Cloche love.
Isn’t this gorgeous?
This adorable little truck holds Pocket Full of Heirlooms’ business cards. She had some wonderful items!
Anne and I with Cat Daddy and Deb of Talking White Trash.
We also had a chance to meet Janie Wooten Conley from Petticoats on the Prairie.
This was a great shot to “end” our day with.
Yee haw!
This does look great! I've often wondered if the Country Living shows really aren't the best bargain hunting shows...
ReplyDeleteLots of cool stuff here!
