Country Living Fair

Back in April, Anne and I headed off on a day trip that involved vintage trailers, lots of junk and treasures and a ghost town.

We attended the first Country Living Fair that was held in Austin. And what a fun day we had!

I’ll share more about the ghost town in another post.

I’ll just start off by saying that the walk from the parking lot to the convention arena was a lot shorter on the way in, than on the way out. It’s amazing how that happens after a morning of trekking through booths in the warm weather and hauling around goodies.

Anne also carried her 300 pound camera that she uses to shoot her amazing photos. I can vouch for that 300 pounds, as I toted it back to the car while she waited for me to drive down and pick up her and her find of the day~see that wonderful chair below the picture of her.

Look carefully-it appears he has some extra antlers sprouting from his long horns.

And bought this fabulous rusty chicken feeder that my husband converted into a light for me. It now resides in my laundry room.
