Today was the first official open day of Smitten, the new shop where Anne and I have a room filled with vintage treasures.
It was a great day!
The owners, Jennifer, Debbie and Paula, did a fabulous job arranging things just so for their first day of business. Their “grand opening” is planned for May 26th and they are promising even more goodness to look forward to.
I shared pictures of our room a couple of days ago, so here are shots from the rest of the shop. Enjoy!
Visitors feel welcomed and at home the second they walk through the door.
A colorful corner promises some fun to be had.
All the touches of blue really make items stand out.
Those cute little boxes hold matches.
Need a sign?
Layers make displays so interesting.
Letters and numbers are always popular décor items.
Who doesn’t love an old fan?
Love these pillows!
Purses and totes handmade by Shannon Birchum of Fredericksburg. I can’t decide if I would rather have the one with the three flowers or the pocket….
Please stop by and visit when you’re in town…you will definitely be
