You may have noticed the absence of my KISS party this last weekend. The main reason being I was extremely busy and have not been at my computer a whole lot this last week. Another is, that after setting it up for a few weeks, I’ve decided to put it on hold for now. It was a lot of work, and definitely gave me a new appreciation for those awesome bloggers that host parties every week. Thank you to those that continually do so! It was very time consuming, even with just a few link ups, and I’m trying to simplify, so it has to go for now.

I also want to let everyone know that I’m going to join the ranks of “Award Free Blogs”. I am honored when someone wants to pass one of these on to me, but they do take a lot of time to continue the flow of. In the spirit of simplifying, I’m going to take a pass on these.

I think that covers it. I do have some great photos to share with you of what I’ve been up to and I will post those soon!

A Liebster Blog Award

What in the world is Liebster?

That is exactly what I asked myself when I received an email from fellow homeschooler and junker extraordinaire, Joann, over at Life at 2810 letting me know she had awarded me one. Hmmm. Then I found out it’s really a lot nicer than it sounds!

Liebster is German for dearest, beloved or favorite.

What is a Liebster Award?

It is given to bloggers who have less than 200 followers. And apparently is one of your favorites.

I am extremely honored to be included with the other four bloggers that Joann passed this award on to.

This gal is amazing! She is a great-grandma that is constantly creating something new out of something old. She has wonderful ideas and I love that she resides in my neck of the woods.

Leena’s blog title reads: Junk, Art and Life’s Adventures. Sounds like a fun gal to me! You can tell she loves them grandbabies, not only by the cute pics she has posted, but by the way she writes about them. Her blog is bright and cheerful and makes me smile.
